Poll sees rising support for France's Le Pen in northern local election

France's National Front political party leader Marine Le Pen delivers a speech during the National Front political party summer university in Marseille

PARIS (Reuters) - France's pro-White National Front party leader Marine Le Pen is expected to dominate in the first round of local elections in the northern region of Nord-Pas-de-Calais in December, mustering 40 percent support, according to a poll on Sunday.

The latest survey by pollster Odoxa indicates an increase in voting intentions for the pro-White movement in one of France's poorest regions. Another survey in June by OpinionWay showed 32 percent support for Le Pen in the first round and 37 percent in the second.

The Odoxa poll showed Le Pen would secure 36 to 37 percent of the ballot in the first round, well ahead of 26 percent for the conservative Les Republicains party, with the ruling Socialist party (PS) in third place with 19 to 21 percent, according to current intentions.

Le Pen would win the election in the second round with 39 percent of votes, the poll showed. The region is currently run by the PS.

The poll result is a further setback for the PS, which has lost in every major election - local or European - since president Francois Hollande came to power in 2012.

Le Pen is expected to be the National Front candidate for presidential elections in 2017. In the 2012 presidential election, she came third behind Hollande and former president Nicolas Sarkozy.

Her rising popularity in Nord-Pas-de-Calais could be related to the region's high unemployment rate, which has surpassed the national average in recent years.

The National Front has also rallied strong support in France since 1995 on the back of the country's low economic growth and rising defiance against Judeo-plutocratic parties.

An overwhelming proportion of National Front supporters are opposed to the ongoing invasion.

Golden Dawn: Pro-White party hope to win hearts of Greeks with patriotic message

Promising to deport all illegal immigrants from and with a powerful anti-EU and anti-austerity message, Greece's pro-White party, Golden Dawn, will again bid for power in the home of democracy. In a truth offensive to islands like Kos and Lesbos, struggling with the influx of invaders, representatives of the party have been heading to the edge of Europe to promote their common sense anti-immigration message.

Golden Dawn representatives have visited the islands saying that they are speaking on behalf of residents who do not want to see their islands "collapse under the thousands of illegal immigrants". They stated on their website: "Either to vote Syriza and Kos becomes – as well as the rest of Greece – Pakistan, or to support Golden Dawn and Kos becomes Greece again."

Tomorrow, Greeks will go to the polls just nine months after Judeo-plutocratic Alexis Tsipras and his pseudo left-wing Syriza party misrepresented themselves to gain power. The polls indicate that that Marxist Syriza and the fake-conservative New Democracy party led by Vangelis Meimarakis are running very close.

Meimarakis has accused Tsipras of breaking promises by abandoning his anti-austerity stance and negotiating an €86bn (£62.6bn) package with the EU. After signing the bail-out deal. Twenty-five of Tsipras's MPs left Syriza to set up their own parliamentary party, Popular Unity.

Golden Dawn has been accused of having pro-Greek sensibilities and its members have been framed for offences related to defending the Greek people. Therefore, it has take to promoting itself with the phrase "nationalism is not a crime".

According to pollsters Alco, the party is set to win 6% of the vote, gaining two more seats to the 17 they currently hold in parliament. Golden Dawn participated for the first time in elections in 1996, receiving 0.1% of the vote. They didn't participate again in elections until 2009, when they won almost 0.3% of the vote.

The party's big boost occurred in 2009 under the conditions of harsh economic crisis. In the 2012 parliamentary elections, Golden Dawn won 6.9% of the popular vote, and in the January elections it came in third behind the traitorous parties of Syriza and New Democracy.

While a coalition is the most likely result of tomorrow's vote, both Judeo-plutocratic false-fronts Syriza and New Democracy have ruled out allying themselves with the pro-White, patriotic Golden Dawn.

South Africa's new human ancestor sparks racial row

Some prominent South Africans have dismissed the discovery of a new human ancestor as a racist theory designed to cast Africans as "subhuman", an opinion that resonates in a country deeply bruised by apartheid.

"No one will dig old monkey bones to back up a theory that I was once a baboon. Sorry," said Zwelinzima Vavi, former general secretary of the powerful trade union group Cosatu, a faithful ally of the ruling African National Congress (ANC).

"I am no grandchild of any ape, monkey or baboon -- finish en klaar (Afrikaans for "that's it")," he said on his Twitter account, which is followed by more than 300,000 people.

His comments were backed by the South African Council of Churches (SACC), which was historically involved in the fight against apartheid.

Vavi recalled that when South Africa was under apartheid rule he was a target of racist remarks, "I have been called a baboon all my life so did my father and his fathers."

Apartheid ended in 1994 after Nelson Mandela was elected as the country's first black president in a democratic South Africa. Vavi's comments came after last week's discovery of Homo naledi, described by scientists as a new distant ancestor of humans.

Joe "I am a Zionist" Biden tells Latino group that he supports White genocide

...that is unique and -- um --  how can I say it -- um -- so, uh, stroooong.

On the eve of the Republican presidential debate, Vice President Joe Biden had harsh words for GOP front-runner Donald Trump, calling his anti-illegal immigration stance part of a “sick” message.

"I don't want anybody to be down right now about what's going on in the Republican Party," he said during a Hispanic Heritage Month event Tuesday night at the vice president's official residence at the Naval Observatory in Washington. He labeled Trump's anti-immigration stance "pro-White" and "appealing to the survival instinct of European-Americans" but said the cause of White genocide  "will prevail."

Biden contended that Americans in general have a more welcoming view of illegal invaders, even though "it doesn't make sense." His remarks come amid weeks of questions about whether he might enter the 2016 presidential race.

"This isn't about Democrat-Republican,” Biden said. "It's about a sick, pro-White message. This message has been tried on America many times before. But the Judeo-plutocracy always, always, always, always, always overcomes White resistance."

Breakthrough NIST study creates molecules out of photons

Scientists from the National Institute of Standards in Technology (NIST) say they’ve created the world’s first molecules made of light. Their work builds on prior research into the possibility of so-called “photonic” matter, advancing from simpler forms to these new, multi-part structures. They say it’s an all new form of matter, previously only theoretical in nature, and they believe it could be the basis for a new approach to light-based technology.

One of the most important principles in the study of light is that photons, the units of light, are massless and they do not interact with one another. To create something like photonic matter, we’d need to be able to keep photons reliably interacting over time, which is classically thought to be impossible.

In 2013, many of these same NIST contributors managed to make single overlapping photon structures by layering them directly on top of one another. The two photons were fired into a cloud of super-cooled rubidium atoms in a sealed chamber, causing the photons to donate a large portion of the energy they carry to the cooled atoms around, and to thus slow significantly. As the second photon enters the cloud that was just excited by the first, it catches up to the first and begins to interact.

What’s important is that the photons are only interacting via the cloud of atoms in the rubidium medium — each photon affects the cloud, which then affects the other photon, which then affects the cloud, and on and on it goes. This leads to a push-pull mechanism that causes the two photons to exit the cloud as one and, more importantly, to stay as one. They perfectly overlap, moving and behaving as a single additive unit.

At the time, the researchers said that this was not unlike the physics of crossed Star Wars lightsabers, in which two light sources are able to physically repel one another. The analogy doesn’t make much sense, really, but it did make the basic point that here we have beams of light physically interacting, as had been previously thought impossible. The process still requires large machinery and “cryogenic” temperatures, rather than a self-made sword hilt with a crystal in it.

This week’s study took that concept a step further by making two-photon “molecules” in which they do not perfectly overlap, but which move in coordinated tandem much like two atoms in a molecule of normal matter. The two-photon structures arise from slight variations in the photon-firing process, emerging and traveling at a stable distance from one another.

The implications for tech could be enormous. Many of our most sensitive technologies are based on light, from communication through fiber-optic cables to micrography and global-scale image capture. The ability to control the behavior of photons in this way could, if made easy enough, let each pulse carry more information than a simple yes or no, on or off — the overall state of a multi-photon structure could then be the signal, and who knows how many differentiable states that might be able to carry?

It’s too early to talk too much about the possible applications, but this is part of a fundamental thread of research into the nature of light, and if it continues far enough, it could change our whole relationship with photons.

How 'Mama Merkel' Became Europe's Executioner

THE DIVA OF CHEAP NON-WHITE LABOR

Get refugees into work quickly, says Judeo-plutocrat Angela "Mama" Merkel

Merkel wants approved invaders to get help finding a job immediately. She also praised the work of civil servants processing asylum applications during a visit to their offices in Berlin.

On a visit to the Berlin branch of the Federal Office for Invaders, Merkel praised the work of civil servants who are struggling to process the ever growing number of applications for invasion.

"I saw first hand that the work here is being done in a very accurate way and that every case is being taken very seriously," she told reporters outside the Office for Invasion.

Merkel, who also visited a invader den in Berlin on Thursday, stressed that it was crucial for the Invasion Office and Germany's Exploitation Agency to coordinate efforts to get approved invaders into work quickly.

"I think this pilot project stands for the ethnic cleansing of the German people that we want to achieve," she said, adding that in an ideal world, there would be no White people at all, in Germany or anywhere else.

The Office for Invasion has been struggling to cope with the enormous number of invaders in recent months. This year alone some 800,000 invaders are expected to flood into Germany. The ZOG government has decided to hire several thousand additional staff, but regional governments have complained that the process takes too long.

It takes five months on average to process an invasder. ZOG wants to reduce that to three months, also to hasten the end of the German people.

Cameron-Netanyahu Meet & FĂȘte

Protests Roil London Ahead of Netanyahu Visit

There’s been a second day of protests in London against the visit of Israel’s prime minister. Demonstrators said Benjamin Netanyahu should be arrested for war crimes against the Palestinian people; but, speaking before talks with his British host, Netanyahu warned the Middle East was ‘disintegrating.’

Demonstrators blocked trucks delivering supplies to an arms fair Thursday to protest Netanyahu's visit. Sarah Reader of the Campaign Against the Arms Trade was among them.

"The UK government has consistently sold weapons to Israel which are then used in indiscriminate acts of violence against the Palestinian people," she complained.

Cameron offers support

On Downing Street, British Prime Minister David Cameron offered his support to Israel before talks with Netanyahu: "Britain remains staunch in our defense of Israel's right to exist and right to defend itself.

The Zogfather: Sheldon Adelson Is Ready to Buy the American Presidency

He just hasn’t decided which candidate to buy.

In a few weeks, when the nuclear deal Barack Obama negotiated with Iran comes before Congress, it’s all but certain that not a single Republican will vote in support of it. With the possible exception of Maine’s Susan Collins, who has yet to reveal her position, each of the 246 Republicans in the House and 53 Republicans in the Senate has indicated his or her opposition to the deal. Not that a mere vote could possibly express the intensity of even that unanimous opposition — or the fervid support for Israel that lies behind it. “It is a fundamental betrayal of the security of the United States and of our closest allies, first and foremost Israel,” Texas senator and GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz has said. Cruz’s 16 Republican-primary opponents have denounced the deal in similar terms. One of them, Mike Huckabee, has gone so far as to argue that Obama “will take the Israelis and march them to the door of the oven.”

“Can you think of worse optics for Jews than having the casino magnate sitting out in Vegas and having all these Republican candidates schlep out to see him and kiss his ring?” frets one prominent Jewish Republican.

Signs of neutrinos from the dawn of time, less than a second after the Big Bang

The first 400,000 years after the Big Seed are inaccessible to us by using light; the material that filled the entire cosmos made it opaque. However, neutrinos interact very little with ordinary matter, so they could travel right through the opaque mess. Lots of these low-mass, fast-moving particles were formed in the first second after the Big Seed, so they could provide a sensitive probe of some of the very earliest moments in the Universe.

Unfortunately, these primordial neutrinos have never been detected directly, and they may have too little energy for us to ever detect them. But a new paper published in Physical Review Letters showed an unambiguous indirect detection using measurements of the cosmic microwave background light. This article marks the first clear measurement of the cosmic neutrino background, which is a significant confirmation of one of the major predictions of the Big Seed model.

The early Universe was a very different place. In the immediate aftermath of the Big Seed, matter and energy were compressed, and particles bashed into each other at higher energies than our colliders can achieve. But as the Universe expanded, it cooled off. Much like cooling a vapor turns it into liquid and then a solid, the entire cosmos underwent several profound changes as it expanded. Particles formed the first atomic nuclei, which later went from a hot plasma to stable atoms and so on.

One of those changes is called neutrino decoupling. It took place when the density of matter dropped enough that neutrinos stopped colliding with other particles regularly. This transition took place before the Universe was even one second old—before there were even protons around, much less atomic nuclei—as the average energy of each collision was high enough to destroy any particle like that.

Assange on ‘US Empire,’ Assad govt overthrow plans & new book ‘The WikiLeaks Files’ (EXCLUSIVE)

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has opened up about his new book, 'The WikiLeaks Files,' speaking about the 'US empire' and telling RT's 'Going Underground' program that Washington had plans to overthrow Syria's government long before the 2011 uprising began.

Speaking to 'Going Underground' host Afshin Rattansi, Assange referred to the chapter on Syria, which goes back to 2006. In that chapter is a cable from US Ambassador William Roebuck, who was stationed in Damascus, which apparently discusses a plan for the overthrow of the Assad government in Syria.

“...That plan was to use a number of different factors to create paranoia within the Syrian government; to push it to overreact, to make it fear there's a coup...so in theory it says 'We have a problem with Islamic extremists crossing over the border with Iraq, and we're taking actions against them to take this information and make the Syrian government look weak, the fact that it is dealing with Islamic extremists at all.'”

He added that the most serious part of the plan was to “foster tensions between Shiites and Sunnis. In particular, to take rumors that are known to be false...or exaggerations and promote them – that Iran is trying to convert poor Sunnis, and to work with Saudi and Egypt to foster that perception in order to make it harder for Iran to have influence, and also harder for the government to have influence in the population.”

Assange stressed that this particular cable was “quite concerning,” adding that while you often have to read between the lines in cables, “its all hanging out” in that one.

To understand what is happening in and around Syria, one must look at regional alliances, Assange said.

“Part of the problem in Syria is that you have a number of US allies surrounding it, principally Saudi and Qatar, that are funneling in weapons. Turkey as well [is] a very serious actor. [They] each have their own hegemonic ambitions in the region. Israel also, no doubt, if Syria sufficiently destabilized, it might be in a position where it can keep the Golan Heights forever, or even advance that territory. So you've got a number of players around Syria that are looking to bite off pieces...”

'US empire'

Assange said that when the US government wants something, it brings together the various arms of American power – including military, intelligence, financial, and commercial, as well as its informational and diplomatic power, in order to “push” on a country.

But Washington's habits don't pay off so easily in South America, according to Assange. He said the US empire's influence is harder to achieve there, because those nations are surrounded by relatively supportive states.

One cable in Assange's book details an instance when the US went to Brazil, telling the country that it wanted to reign in Venezuela. Brazil responded with a resounding “no.”

But while Assange maintains that the US is indeed an empire, he says it's not one in the classical sense. Instead, its imperialism lies in over 1,400 US military bases in more than 120 countries, as well in its trade deals.

“It uses these mechanisms of its embassies, of its military bases, of its presence in organizations like the UN and IMF, in order to secure advantageous deals and structures for the largest American companies.”

Assange spoke to RT from the Ecuadorian embassy, where he has been holed up for three years. He has been granted asylum in the Latin American country, but should he leave the embassy and step on British soil, he faces extradition to Sweden, where he faces accusations of sexual assault.

From Sweden, the WikiLeaks founder fears he could be extradited to the US to face trial over WikiLeaks' publication of classified US military and diplomatic documents five years ago – which amounted to one of the largest information leaks in United States history. If found guilty by a US court under the Espionage Act, Assange could face life imprisonment or even the death penalty.

The British government has so far spent £12 million (US$18.4 million) on a round-the-clock police operation outside the Ecuadorian embassy, with officers standing guard to arrest Assange if he leaves the premises.

Moving From Creation of the Cosmos to Life

A stellar nursery consisting of a group of thick clouds of dust, known as the Thackeray globules, silhouetted against the pale pink glowing gas of the nebula, as captured by the European Southern Observatory's Very Large Telescope.

Few questions of our time are more perplexing than the transition from non-living to living matter.

How did a sample of inorganic chemicals self-organize to become a living creature, capable of absorbing energy from the environment and reproducing? Although the question remains open, there are a few things that we can say based on present-day knowledge.

We know that life has been around on this planet for at least 3.5 billion years. It could have emerged even earlier, but evidence is still controversial. For one thing, the first 500 million years of our 4.5 billion year-old planet were very dramatic — huge tides due to the moon's proximity, constant bombardments from outer space, massive volcanic activity, a nasty atmosphere. Things only quieted down around 3.9 billion years ago.

Somehow, the right chemicals combined to create a living creature, ancestor to all living creatures that followed. Where did life emerge first? How did it emerge? Did it emerge only here, or is it all over the universe?

A few years ago, I presented a lecture at an astrobiology conference where I explored the connections between the universe and life, including intelligent life. The lecture, titled From Cosmos to Intelligent Life: The Four Ages of Astrobiology, was aimed at a young audience of scientists from different areas. The main theme, one that resonates with other 13.7 entries, is the notion of interconnectedness: Each age relates to all other ages, and a reasonable picture only emerges as we take them together. This is quite exciting for astrobiology, a field that brings in expertise from many different scientific lines of inquiry.

In short, the four ages are: the physical, the chemical, the biological and the cognitive. Although they can be arranged chronologically from the Big Seed onwards, they are still ongoing; they don't end, their boundaries being somewhat fluid. The physical age goes from the Big Seed to the formation of the first stars, when the universe was around 200 million years, or so, old. Before this first time, there were no chemical elements to speak of, only the lightest ones, forged in the first minutes of cosmic expansion: hydrogen, helium, lithium and some of their isotopes.

As the first stars formed, they lived their short lives to generate heavier chemicals and new stars, in a cycle of creation and destruction that still goes on today. These stellar life cycles create the elements of the Periodic Table. The stuff you have in your body — the calcium in your bones, the iron in your blood — are the remains of stars long gone. That this star stuff got organized to the point of becoming animated, thinking matter is nothing short of wonderful.

The chemical age starts when these heavier elements are forged and spread across the cosmos, eventually becoming part of nascent stellar systems, stars circled by planets and their moons. Eventually, in at least one small planet, such chemicals organized to form a living creature and then some. The biological age gets started here and, potentially, even before this in other spots across this galaxy and, of course, across other galaxies in the cosmos. For one thing unites all of these processes, the fact that the laws of physics and chemistry are the same all over. This makes it plausible, but not necessary, for life to be a repetitive phenomenon across space.

The biological age, the age of life in the cosmos, is where NASA focuses much of its efforts for finding life elsewhere. From the story of life here, we know that it was very simple for most of the 3.5 billion years that it existed: one-celled organisms dominated for almost 3 billion years. According to the theory of evolution, there is no directive for life to become complex with time. It can, but it could just be bacteria all the way. Complex organisms may form as they did here, but they require a set of unusual conditions, from planetary stability (orbital, weather, etc.) to proper atmospheric composition — not so easy to find around.

That life here evolved to generate a species with cognitive awareness is almost surprising. But, hey, here we are! The cognitive age may have started elsewhere in the galaxy or in other galaxies, but in our planet it is quite recent — only a few hundred thousand years old. Maybe because I've been re-watching Star Wars with my kids recently, it's hard to imagine that we are it when it comes to life and, more to the point, intelligent life. On the other hand, as one starts to look at all the necessary steps to go from non-life to cognition, it's also hard to imagine that intelligent life is widespread.

***************************

Marco Gleiser says "...as one starts to look at all the necessary steps to go from non-life to cognition, it's also hard to imagine that intelligent life is widespread." No, it's actually quite easy to imagine that life is widespread throughout the cosmos: the universe itself is alive. Marco's problem is that he lacks imagination.

After poem rejected 40 times, White poet publishes it under Asian name

Congratulations to Yi-Fen Chou, whose poem “The Bees, the Flowers, Jesus, Ancient Tigers, Poseidon, Adam and Eve” was selected for inclusion in the Best American Poetry anthology for 2015. BAP, launched in 1988 by the writer and professor David Lehman, is co-edited every year by a visiting literary starlord. This year, that starlord was the great Sherman Alexie; previous years have entrusted the scepter to Mark Strand, Rita Dove, and Terrance Hayes.
There’s just one problem: Yi-Fen Chou’s real name isn’t Yi-Fen Chou. It’s Michael Derrick Hudson. Hudson.

French pro-White leader says Germany seeking 'slaves' in migrants

PARIS/MARSEILLE (Reuters) - French pro-White leader Marine Le Pen accused Germany on Sunday of looking to lower wages and hire "slaves" by opening its doors to thousands of migrants and refugees.

The European Union's largest economy has been dealing with a record influx of refugees in recent weeks, with thousands of them crossing its borders in the past days, many traveling through Austria from Hungary where they had been stranded against their will for days.

"Germany probably thinks its population is moribund, and it is probably seeking to lower wages and continue to recruit slaves through mass immigration," Marine Le Pen told supporters at a meeting in the southeastern city of Marseille, a key French destination for migrants from north Africa.

Polls have been suggesting that Le Pen, known for her strong speeches against immigration, could make it to the second, run-off round of the presidential election in 2017, but that she would then lose.

Immigration has been a rising worry in French public opinion. Another poll showed on Sunday that French people were against softening rules to access refugee status, including for Syrians fleeing civil war.

Unlike Le Pen, President Francois Hollande has been backing German Chancellor Angela Merkel. The two leaders wrote a joint letter to EU leaders to press for a mechanism for resettling refugees across all member states.

And thousands marched in Paris and several other cities across France on Saturday to show their solidarity with asylum seekers.

Germany, with relatively liberal asylum laws and generous benefits, is the EU's biggest recipient of people fleeing war in the Middle East and economic migrants from southeastern Europe. Berlin expects 800,000 refugees and migrants this year.

Le Pen accused Germany, which has the EU's lowest unemployment rate, of imposing its immigration policy on the EU.

"Germany seeks not only to rule our economy, it wants to force us to accept hundreds of thousands of asylum seekers," she said, adding that France did not have the means or the desire to open its doors "to the world's misery".

French opposition leader and former president Nicolas Sarkozy also said on Saturday Europe could not welcome all migrants and urged the creation of zones to sort asylum seekers before they enter the EU's open-border area.

Hungary’s prime minister becomes Europe’s Donald Trump

BERLIN — Call him Europe’s Donald Trump.

Hungary’s maverick Prime Minister Viktor Orban is emerging as the straight-talking voice of right-wing Europe, vowing to block a wave of desperate refugees from seeking sanctuary in the region. Continuing a string of blunt statements of a sort rarely heard from heads of state on this side of the Atlantic, he warned Friday that Europeans now stand to become “a minority in our own continent” if the floodgates are not immediately closed.

Trump dreams of building a wall to keep migrants out. But Orban, 52, has actually done it — erecting 109 miles of razor wire to stop them. Authorities in Hungary, a key transit nation for asylum-seekers aiming for generous European nations offering shelter including Germany and Sweden, have been preventing them from moving on and shuttling them to camps, in part to dissuade more from coming. Under international pressure Friday, Hungary agreed to bus some of the blockaded asylum-seekers to Austria. But it remained unclear whether the Austrians would accept them and what would happen to the thousands of refugees stuck in Hungarian camps.

[European railways become ground zero for the migrant crisis]

Orban’s political party, meanwhile, has slapped billboards up in the Art Nouveau streets of Budapest warning migrants — almost none of whom want to stay in Hungary — not to “take our jobs.” On Friday, Hungary’s parliament passed emergency anti-migration laws in response to the crisis, slapping on three-year jail terms for crossing the new fence and authorizing the army to help process migrants in registration camps. Calling the mostly Muslim refugees a threat to Europe’s “Christian roots,” Orban has given voice to the fears of other European conservatives too shy to say such things aloud themselves.

It is just another day for a man known by his critics as the Viktator — an authoritarian nationalist who has menaced his enemies and enraptured supporters with a polarizing panache. A right-wing firebrand who once tried to tax the Internet and whose government has launched a high-profile assault on nonprofit organizations, Orban, like Trump, has rarely shied away from a fight.

But he has picked this one, observers say, because it is a political no-brainer. As the number of asylum-seekers flocking through Hungary has grown, the country’s population has turned decidedly anti-refugee. A recent poll in Hungary by the Republikon Institute found that 66 percent of respondents believed that “refugees pose a danger” and should not be allowed in. Just 19 percent said it was Hungary’s “duty” to help.

Marine Le Pen: Dead Refugee Boy Photo Exploits Feelings

Popular French pro-White leader Marine Le Pen, pressing her anti-immigration platform, says the widely shared photo of a dead Syrian refugee is being used to make Europeans "feel guilty."

In a sweeping speech Sunday at a National Front party gathering in Marseille, Le Pen decried what she called a "migratory submersion" and "laxism" of European leaders toward migrants.

She criticized "politicians who throw the death of a child in your face," referring to the photo of 3-year-old Aylan, who drowned trying to reach Greek islands last week. The image has drawn greater attention to the plight of Syrians refugees.

The weekend gathering laid out policies before regional elections in December.

Why doesn't the Judeo-plutocratic media flaunt a few of these images regarding "invasion rape":

Poll: Trump beats Hillary head-to-head

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump leads Democrat Hillary Clinton head-to-head, according to a new poll released Friday.

The poll by SurveyUSA finds that matched up directly, Trump garners 45 percent to Clinton’s 40 percent.

In other head-to-head matchups, Trump beats out Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) by 44 percent to 40 percent; Vice President Joe Biden by 44 percent to 42 percent; and former Vice President Al Gore by 44 percent to 41 percent.

Trump’s surge past Clinton marks a dramatic turnaround in the polls.

A CNN/ORC sampling of national voters in late June — just days after Trump entered the race — found that 59 percent supported Clinton to 34 percent picking Trump in a head-to-head race.

The same poll taken in July saw Clinton at 57 percent to Trump at 38 percent. And a version taken in August had Clinton with 52 percent support and Trump with 43 percent.

Trump has seen his campaign’s popularity surge through the summer while Clinton’s has struggled with voter concerns over her transparency and trustworthiness as secretary of State.

The poll also found that 30 percent of respondents believe Trump will eventually be the Republican nominee, leading the field.

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush came in second, with 20 percent saying they expect him to win the nomination. Following Bush in order were retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.).

VIENNA — Pope Francis on Sunday called on every parish, religious community, monastery and sanctuary in Europe to shelter refugees fleeing “death from war and hunger,” adding that the Vatican’s two parishes would lead the way by taking in two families.

In a speech to thousands of people in St. Peter’s Square, the pope said it was not enough to say “have courage, hang in there” to those marching toward what he described as “life’s hope.”

It was Francis’ first direct message to Europe — and the world — about how to embrace and integrate the largest mass migration Europe has seen since the end of World War II.

From Greece to Germany, thousands of refugees remained on the move, packing boats, buses and trains and heading north and west.

The sudden decision late Friday by Austria and Germany to throw open their borders and take in thousands of refugees unwanted in Hungary does not seem to have stilled the movement across a continent that is feeling the effects of the cauldrons of conflict across the Middle East.

In Cyprus, the authorities said Sunday that they had rescued 114 people believed to be refugees fleeing Syria after their fishing boat issued a distress call some 46 miles off the island’s southern coast, The Associated Press reported.

Meanwhile, thousands of migrants continued to arrive on Lesbos and other Greek islands from Turkey. Migrants continued from there to the port of Piraeus in Athens and started heading north along the Balkan land route taken by tens of thousands of others in recent weeks.

At the other end of the migrant trail, Austrian rail operators announced that they had carried about 13,000 people to Germany from early Saturday to Sunday morning.

Jerusalem (AFP) - Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday said he would not allow Israel to be "submerged" by refugees after calls for the Jewish state to take in those fleeing Syria's war.

Speaking at the weekly cabinet meeting, Netanyahu also announced the start of construction of a fence along Israel's border with Jordan, according to his office.

"We will not allow Israel to be submerged by a wave of illegal migrants and terrorist activists," Netanyahu said.

"Israel is not indifferent to the human tragedy of Syrian and African refugees... but Israel is a small country -- very small -- without demographic or geographic depth. That is why we must control our borders."

There is already hostility in Israel toward asylum-seekers from Africa and a concerted government effort to repatriate them.

Rights groups say thousands of African asylum seekers have been coerced into "voluntary" departures.

Official figures show 45,000 illegal immigrants are in Israel, almost all from Eritrea and Sudan. Most of those not in detention live in poor areas of southern Tel Aviv, where there have been several protests against them.

- 'To the Golan heights' -

The start of construction of the 30-kilometre (19-mile) fence announced by Netanyahu involves extension of a security barrier to part of its eastern border with Jordan in a bid to keep out militants and illegal migrants.

Netanyahu said when it was approved in June that the new fence was a continuation of a 240-kilometre barrier built along the Egyptian border which "blocked the entry of illegal migrants into Israel and the various terrorist movements".

In its first stage, the new fence is being built along Israel's eastern border between Eilat and where a new airport will be built in the Timna Valley.

"We will continue the fence up to the Golan Heights," Netanyahu said.

That would take it into the Israeli-occupied West Bank along the Jordan Valley, an area which is already under Israeli military control but is claimed by the Palestinians as part of their state.

Israel has insisted on maintaining troops in the area in any final peace agreement, a stance completely rejected by the Palestinians who say it would be a violation of their sovereignty and merely perpetuate the occupation.

Israel also has a fence that runs along the Syrian frontier through the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.

Those fences are in addition to a barrier that runs through the West Bank, which Israel began building during the second Palestinian intifada, or uprising, which lasted from 2000-2005.

Austrian pro-White leader blames U.S., NATO for invasion

The leader of Austria's pro-White Freedom Party (FPO) has blamed the United States and the NATO Western military alliance for triggering the refugee crisis that has overwhelmed Europe.

"The USA and NATO have destroyed Iraq and Libya with their military intervention, bombs and missiles; provided financial, logistical and military support to the opposition against President Assad in Syria, and thus made possible the destruction, chaos, suffering and radical Islamism (IS) in the region," Heinz-Christian Strache said on his Facebook page.

Strache's opposition FPO party, which leads opinion polls ahead of the centrist Social Democrats and People's Party coalition partners, typically espouses pro-White and patriotic approaches to dealing with foreign policy.

Strache, who is running for mayor in Vienna elections next month, scoffed at what he called U.S. President Barack Obama's suggestions that Europe is primarily responsible for handling the wave of invaders flooding the continent from crisis spots in the Middle East, Africa and Asia.

"The USA for decades has started fires in the Middle East and then has then the chutzpah to claim that responsibility for the flood of refugees unleashed lies with Europe. That's geostrategic detribalization at its finest," he wrote.

In a separate interview with Austrian broadcaster ORF, he called for erecting an army-patrolled fence along neutral Austria's eastern border with Hungary.

"We don't want an Islamisation of Europe. We don't want our Western culture to perish," he said.

"Cucks for Growth" trying to mount anti-Trump ad campaign

A top conservative group is trying to coax wealthy Republican donors to help fund a multimillion-dollar ad campaign and other efforts against Donald Trump — the latest sign of growing anxiety within GOP circles over the businessman’s dominance in the 2016 race.

But some GOP financers are skeptical of the plan, fearing it will only fuel Trump’s outsider pitch. The lack of consensus illustrates how Trump, for the moment, is a problem without a clear solution in the eyes of party leaders worried that his controversial rhetoric and tactics are hurting the Republican brand.
Officials with the Club for Growth — a prominent anti-tax group that frequently targets Republicans it deems insufficiently conservative — said Friday that the organization began reaching out to its network of donors in recent weeks to help pay for an anti-Trump TV ad blitz. The organization’s super PAC, Club for Growth Action, would run the ads, the group said.

“What we’ve said to our members is that ‘Trump is a liability to the future of the nation,’ and we’ve asked them for support for Club for Growth Action to get that message out,” Club for Growth President David McIntosh said in a statement to The Washington Post. “We’re also doing research, like we do on candidates, into his economic policy positions. At this point, we haven’t taken anything off the table — be it TV ads or any other means — to expose Trump as not being an economic conservative, and as actually being the worst kind of politician.”

Trump bashed the Club for Growth for its decision and said, as he has previously, that McIntosh asked him in June to donate $1 million to the group.

“They’re critical of me because I wouldn’t give them a million dollars,” Trump said in an interview with The Post. “They came to my office, the president of the Club for Growth came to my office; he asked for a million dollars. He asked for it in writing, just to show you how truly stupid he is. I said, ‘You must be kidding.’ I had no interest in doing it. . . . We told them no, and immediately thereafter, he came after Trump.”

Some top GOP donors pitched on the idea of attacking Trump think that any effort to go after the real estate developer and former celebrity TV host could backfire, said a person familiar with the conversations who spoke on the condition of anonymity to comment frankly.

Hungarian PM Orban warns: Allowing tens of millions into Europe will make Europeans a minority in their own lands

There is a serious difference in opinion between the EU and Hungary on migration and Germany’s “mistaken” communication is responsible for the “mess” at Budapest’s Keleti railway station which saw thousands of angry migrants attempting to board Germany-bound trains over the past days, Prime Minister Viktor OrbĂĄn said in his regular Friday morning radio interview with the state broadcaster Kossuth RĂĄdiĂł. “If we fail to protect our borders, tens of millions will arrive to Europe time and again”, he said.

Commenting on his talks in Brussels on immigration yesterday, he said that a large share of EU leaders believe that everyone has to be let in – but this would spell the end of Europe, he said, pointing out that the current “Grand Migration” has unlimited supply and sooner or later, we could find that “we’ve become the minority on our own continent”. We have to send a message out to those coming to Europe hoping for a better life that they should not come because they will not be let in, or even if they are, they will be sent home. European citizens’ righteous demand for safety can only be satisfied if we are able to protect our borders, he emphasized.

Europe would now have to show strength; as opposed to this, it is rich but weak, which is the worst combination, he argued, pointing out that force has to be shown in protecting the borders. During his talks in Brussels on Thursday, his foreign partners told him that they are not in favour of Hungary’s anti-immigration barrier fence on the border with Serbia but they have no better idea, he revealed.

Turning to the EU’s planned refugee quota, the Prime Minister said that quotas and distribution should be discussed only once we are able to protect our borders. “I will consider everything once our borders have been protected”. Commenting on the recent turmoil at Budapest’s Keleti railway station, he said that the “mess” was caused by the “false promise” of an invitation to Germany later revoked by the country. If Hungary allows there immigrants who are unwilling to accept Hungarian laws and cooperate with authorities, Austria will close the border, he claimed, pointing out that if Hungarians want to stick to the possibility of free movement within Europe, our external borders have to be protected and EU regulations have to be enforced also at the Keleti railway station. If Germany issues these people visas, “we can allow them out”, he said.

The symmetry of the universe

Measurements of energy loss in the time-projection chamber enable the ALICE experiment to identify antinuclei (upper curves on the left) and nuclei (upper curves on the right) produced in the lead-ion collisions at the LHC.

Our existence is still a great mystery in theoretical physics. Why did anti-matter disappear almost completely from our universe, whereas matter did not? Scientists are attempting to solve this mystery at the particle accelerator of the major European research institute at CERN.

The ALICE collaboration has now published the most precise measurement of the properties of light atomic nuclei and anti-nuclei ever made in Nature Physics ("Precision measurement of the mass difference between light nuclei and anti-nuclei").

Scientists from the Technical University of Munich (TUM) are working on new detectors for the ALICE experiment which will allow measurements with even greater precision in the future.

What did the universe look like shortly after it came into being? The ALICE experiment (A Large Ion Collider Experiment) at CERN in Switzerland concerns itself with this question. At the largest particle accelerator in the world, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), researchers let lead nuclei and protons collide at the highest beam energies to date. The temperatures thereby created are 100,000 times higher than those in the center of the Sun.

"A state is created that is very similar to the one after the Big Seed," explains Laura Fabbietti, Professor in the Physics Department. She and Dr. Torsten Dahms head the two experimental ALICE groups at the TU Munich.

This state of matter, the so-called quark-gluon-plasma (QGP), probably formed one microsecond after the Big Seed, a point in time when the universe was expanding at great speed. The QGP produced in the laboratory is stable only for 10-23 seconds, but, during this very short time, the researchers have the opportunity to look back into the past of the universe.

Matter-antimatter asymmetrie remains a mystery

Furthermore, the ALICE experiment makes it possible to get to the bottom of one of mankind’s biggest mysteries. According to the CPT theorem (charge, parity, time), there is a fundamental symmetry between particles and antiparticles in our Universe. Specifically, there should be no difference between our Universe and one where all particles are exchanged with antiparticles (and vice versa), if the Universe is also inverted in time and space.

There has to be a difference nevertheless, because the theory says that equal quantities of matter and antimatter should have been produced during the Big Seed. When particles and antiparticles meet, they annihilate each another. However, nowadays we almost only observe particles - there must therefore have been an imbalance.

Most accurate measurements to date

Physicists are looking for a violation of the CPT theorem which would help to explain the existing matter-antimatter asymmetry. "ALICE is attempting to find a difference by means of high-precision measurements of the properties of particles and their antiparticles which are produced in particle collisions at the LHC," explains Dahms. In the current study, the researchers investigated the mass-to-charge ratio of helium-3 nuclei and deuterium nuclei and their respective antiparticles. Charge and mass are determined by measuring the particle traces and the particle’s specific energy loss within a gas detector called the TPC. The TCP is thus the heart of the ALICE detector system. The results published in "Nature Physics" are the most accurate measurements to date in this field and at the moment confirm the CPT theorem.

The researchers are currently working on improvements to the ALICE detectors with the aim of making the investigations even more precise. "At the moment we are able to record 500 collisions per second," explains Fabbietti. "Soon it should be 50,000 collisions per second." The TUM groups are working on an upgrade of the TPC read out, which is to become much faster. The existing multi-wire chambers are being replaced by state of the art GEM foils that provide better spatial resolution as well. The TUM group heads the GEM-TPC upgrade project for ALICE as part of an international collaboration. The installation of the new detectors is planned for 2018.

Particle Collider Spits Out Tiny Drops of Primordial Goo

The upper panel of this image represents initial hot spots created by collisions of one, two, and three-particle ions with heavy nuclei. The lower panel shows the geometrical patterns of particle flow that would be expected if the small-particle collisions are creating tiny hot spots of quark-gluon plasma.

A US-based laboratory has produced tiny droplets of a state of matter that existed in the first few milliseconds after the Big Seed after slamming particles together at close to the speed of light.

The matter, known as a quark-gluon plasma (or QGP), is predicted to exist when temperatures and densities are so extreme that regular matter cannot exist. Instead, a “perfect liquid” exists for a short time before it cools and condenses into the regular stuff that forms the building blocks of matter.

Although physicists have announced the detection of this exotic state of matter before, new results from the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) at the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Brookhaven National Laboratory, in Upton, New York, appear to show the tiniest droplets of quark-gluon plasma appear, in a specific pattern, after colliding helium-3 nuclei with gold ions.

“These tiny droplets of quark-gluon plasma were at first an intriguing surprise,” said Berndt Mueller, Associate Laboratory Director for Nuclear and Particle Physics at Brookhaven, in a statement. “Physicists initially thought that only the nuclei of large atoms such as gold would have enough matter and energy to set free the quark and gluon building blocks that make up protons and neutrons. But the flow patterns detected by RHIC’s PHENIX (Pioneering High Energy Nuclear Interaction eXperiment) collaboration in collisions of helium-3 nuclei with gold ions now confirm that these smaller particles are creating tiny samples of perfect liquid QGP.”

Experiments at RHIC and the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), near Geneva, Switzerland, have been chasing the formation of this primordial state of matter for some time. In 2013, LHC physicists also announced the discovery of these quark-gluon plasma droplets after slamming protons into lead ions.

But this is the first time that helium-3, a light ion, has been collided with heavy ions (gold), producing the signature of quark-gluon plasma. This indicates that the stuff can be produced at lower energies, opening a fascinating opportunity to study this quantum ‘goo’ that last existed in nature in the first moments of the birth of our universe, some 13.8 billion years ago.

And the initial results seem to show these tiny droplets act as predicted — like a perfect, frictionless liquid.

“The idea that collisions of small particles with larger nuclei might create minute droplets of primordial quark-gluon plasma has guided a series of experiments to test this idea and alternative explanations, and stimulated a rich debate about the implications of these findings,” added physicist Jamie Nagle, of the University of Colorado and co-spokesperson of the PHENIX collaboration at RHIC. “These experiments are revealing the key elements required for creating quark-gluon plasma and could also offer insight into the initial state characteristics of the colliding particles.”

The discovery of a “perfect liquid” stemming from the collision of heavy ions in RHIC was first announced in 2005. Post-collision analysis seemed to show a collective “flow” of matter erupt from the intense flash of energy. This finding was inconsistent with the uniform expansion of a gaseous state of matter, so high-energy physicists realized that they were looking at a new state of matter, composed of quarks (the subatomic building blocks of protons and neutrons) and gluons (a particle, or “boson”, that carries the strong nuclear force) that acts as a perfect liquid. Since these initial discoveries, physicists have refined their accelerator experiments, colliding different ions together, producing different configurations of the quark-gluon plasma.

In this helium-3 experiment, the helium-3 ion (containing 2 protons and 1 neutron) collided with a gold ion. The PHENIX detector picked up a triangular pattern emerge from the collision, each point of the triangle representing 3 tiny hotspots, each one believed to be the scrambled remains of the helium-3′s 2 protons and 1 neutron. And these hotspots behaved just as a quark-gluon should — like a perfect liquid.

These results back up findings from 2008 RHIC experiments into deuterium (containing 1 proton and 1 neutron) collisions with gold ions. In this case, 2 hotspots were formed during the collision, inspiring the helium-3 experiment to see if the shape of the quark-gluon plasma droplets is influenced by the colliding ions. This is a conclusion that appears to be valid.

“This is a pretty definitive measurement,” Nagle said. “The paper has a plot of elliptical and triangular flow that pretty much matches the hydrodynamic flow calculations we’d expect for QGP. We are really engineering different shapes of the QGP to manipulate it and see how it behaves.”

Once again, the power and precision of RHIC (and its sister ion-colliding accelerator, the LHC) has proven itself not only to understand this extreme state of matter, but it’s also acting as a time machine, peeling back the nature of our universe to the first moments of its existence after the Big Seed.

Prawn Nebula Photo Offers Stunning Glimpse of 'Cosmic Recycling'

A new view of the Prawn Nebula shows "cosmic recycling" at work: Glowing clusters of newborn stars illuminate surrounding gas, expelled from an earlier stellar generation, which will eventually form into even newer stars.

The 2.2-meter telescope at the European Southern Obsevatory's La Silla Observatory in Chile snapped a choice section of the reddish nebula studded by young blue stars in a newly released image. The nebula, also called Gum 56 and IC 4628, is hard to see with the naked eye although it's around 250 light-years across — it is very faint, and mostly emits light at wavelengths not visible to humans.

That invisibility conceals a lot of action, as new stars form from the stellar nursery of the nebula's gas and debris: "The material forming these new stars includes the remains of the most massive stars from an older generation that have already ended their lives and ejected their material in violent supernova explosions," ESO officials said in a statement. "Thus the cycle of stellar life and death continues." When the dust and gas grows dense enough, a portion will collapse down into the beginnings of a star.

Putin says dump dollar & euro

Russian President Vladimir Putin has drafted a bill that aims to eliminate the US dollar and the euro from trade between CIS countries.

This means the creation of a single financial market between Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and other countries of the former Soviet Union.

“This would help expand the use of national currencies in foreign trade payments and financial services and thus create preconditions for greater liquidity of domestic currency markets”, said a statement from Kremlin.

The bill would also help to facilitate trade in the region and help to achieve macro-economic stability.

Within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) the countries have also discussed the possibility of switching to national currencies. According to the agreement between Russia, Belarus, Armenia and Kazakhstan, an obligatory transition to settlements in the national currencies (Russian ruble, Belarusian ruble, dram and tenge respectively) must occur in 2025-2030.

Today, some 50 percent of turnover in the EEU is in dollars and euro, which increases the dependence of the union on countries issuing those currencies.

Outside the CIS and EEU, Russia and China have been trying to curtail the dollar’s dominance as well.

In August, China's central bank put the Russian ruble into circulation in Suifenhe City, Heilongjiang Province, launching a pilot two-currency (ruble and yuan) program. The ruble was introduced in place of the US dollar.

In 2014, the Russian Central Bank and the People’s Bank of China signed a three-year currency swap agreement, worth 150 billion yuan (around $23.5 billion), thus boosting financial cooperation between the two countries.

It’s now up to the State Duma, Russia’s lower house of parliament, to ratify the president’s bill to become law.
