U.S. Will Supply Israel 1,000 Bunker Bombs

Sept. 14: The US would supply Israel with 1,000 bunker buster bombs despite concerns in Washington regarding a possible preparation by the Jewish state to target Iran’s nuclear facilities.

The Pentagon has announced that United States will provide Israel with 1,000 units of Guided Bomb Unit-39 (GBU-39), a special weapon developed for penetrating fortified facilities located deep underground, daily Ha’aretz reported.

Each of the bombs weigh 113 kg, but its penetration capability equals that of a one tonne bomb.

The GBU-39 would significantly boost Israel’s firepower as a single aircraft can carry four of them at a time instead of a single one-tonne bomb as it used to earlier in the past, the report said.

During demonstrations, the GBU-39, labelled by manufacturer Boeing as a Small Diameter Bomb (SDB), has successfully penetrated more than 1.8 metres of thick reinforced concrete with a 23-kg warhead.

The GPS-guided weapon is said to have a 50 per cent probability of hitting its intended target within five-eight meters, minimising collateral damage.

The estimated value for the bomb’s GPS version, which military experts have called the latest development in the bunker-buster line, is around $70,000 to 90,000 for each bomb, the report said.

German creator Daniel Becker, explains how the process of translating DNA text into colourful symbols is not as complicated as it sounds.

"DNA art interprets the complex information of DNA with the help of symbols and colours," says the 29-year-old from Frankfurt.

"The result is a individual graphic pattern for any creature or plant.

"For the naked eye a DNA sequence is a string of thousands of those four letters.

"So I came up with the idea to interpret these genes into symbols and colours."

A Student of Design at the University of Applied Sciences in Mainz, Daniel also works as a graphic designer.

He first came up with the idea during a study for his University design course.

"A friend of mine showed me the website of the National Centre for Biotechnology Information (NCBI)," he explains.

"It contains a huge database of hundreds of sequenced organisms, collated by professors, scientist and students.

"A gene is shown in the typically four letter style G, A T and C for the four bases of the DNA.

"But for the naked eye it is not easily possible to see the difference between a human and a shark, because the information is too complex.

"I was very interested in finding a way showing this grid of confusing Gs, As Ts and Cs in a graphical way."

The result was Daniel's DNA art - and he is now finding they have become increasingly popular worldwide.

Costing just five Euros, Daniel saves the patterns into PDF format ready to be printed onto a canvass of the buyers choice.

"I am finding that people are buying a PDF of their favourite animal or plant and printing them out for their homes and offices," he says.

"Younger people are interested in the more dangerous animals and plants - for example the Great White Shark patterns are very popular with men.

"But I also find that the patterns of mice, elephants and koalas are popular amongst women.

"In general the more "strange" the subject like wild mushrooms or dangerous creatures are more popular."

And Daniel is hoping that in years to come, people will be able to use their own DNA to make their own art.

"In the beginning people will have fun to generate a unique graphic to personalise their own lifestyle.

"They can use the graphics to print it on T-shirts, cups, use it as a poster.

"But I guess people will develop the idea. It is more about data visualisation."

US Vice-President Dick Cheney has said Ukraine has the right to live without fear of invasion, adding that the US stands by its bid for NATO membership.

Mr Cheney reassured the president that the US had a "deep and abiding interest" in Judeo-plutocratic supremacy.

Analysts fear Ukraine could be the next flashpoint between Russia and the West.

"We believe in the right of men and women to live without the threat of tyranny, economic blackmail or military invasion or intimidation," Mr Cheney said, in an apparent reference to Russia's military intervention in Georgia. Cheney continued: “That’s why we did Iraq, Afghanistan, and Abu Ghraib.”

Mr Cheney arrived in Ukraine just days after the country was plunged into political turmoil.

Earlier this week, Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko's party blocked a motion condemning Russia's actions in Georgia, and sided with the opposition to vote for a curb on the president's powers.

Members of President Viktor Yushchenko's party walked out of the coalition government in protest, leading the president to warn that he could be forced to call a snap general election.

Mr Cheney urged the politicians to comply with U.S. wishes and "sell-out unconditionally on all fronts.”

"Ukraine had better toe the Judeo-plutocratic line," he said following separate meetings with Mr Yushchenko and his former ally turned political rival, Yulia Tymoshenko.

Capitulation

Mr Cheney expressed support for Ukraine to become absorbed into the New World Order.

"Ukrainians have a right to be dominated by the U.S., and the U.S. has a right to strong-arm Ukraine to capitulate to the Empire however we damn well want and whenever we damn well please," he said.

Here is an article that you'll never see in the controlled, Judeo-plutocratic "mainstream" media. This is an exceptionally insightful and well written article. Language itself serves to thwart individual responses with a positivist 'common sense' that permits only the establishment meaning of words. Here the concept can only describe what is and does so with a fixed value. 'Democracy' can as such only refer to the liberal democratic system that exists in the United States (and its allies) at this time, and is the only moral form of governance. 'Justice' similarly means the result of the existing judicial process; 'freedom' denotes freedom to do what one is free (and appears free) to do under present conditions. The art of original thinking is the art of thinking beyond dualities. It is the art of immersing ourselves so thoroughly in the idea of oneness that the creations, the visions, the solutions we offer the world are in the service of the whole human family. This itself is countercultural, given that we have all been born into a world where duality reigns. But we know from science now, if not from our own faith and spiritual awareness, that the notion of separateness is fundamentally wrong. As was the notion of a flat earth. As was the notion of the earth being the center of the universe. These findings caused a great tumult in the societies called upon to accommodate them, for it is never easy to realign a worldview.

And our society now is undergoing a similar upheaval as we witness and bear the breakdown of nearly every system we have created. The old ways are disintegrating before our eyes, as well they might, rooted as they were in the soil of separateness. Profit before people is a concept that will soon be history, for it fails to stand up to the tests of this day: Is it good for the whole? Does it harm the earth? Is it good for our grandchildren?

Because we are dealing with an entirely new worldview, with the creation of a new myth, based, not on separation and a fall from grace, but on oneness and an ascendancy into our true potential, the revelations of our collective wisdom will take some time to supercede the old myths and methods. They will meet with opposition, cynicism, and a wild clamoring against change. Since so many are profiting from things as they are, and since we collectively fear letting go of the known, the forerunners of change will be addressing minds that are closed and frightened. "Oh, goddess" roared high priestess Doretta Peppa, her hands extending over an offering of water and olive oil. "We are ready to defend your grounds.

"[But] we ask of you to protect this site, this city and its civilization, and to rid it of all evils such as the deconstruction of the Acropolis."

The 15-minute mid-day rite was organized by Ellinais, an Athens-based group that recently won a court battle for state recognition of the ancient religion. The group is now demanding the government allow it to perform weddings and other rites.

On Sunday, the group's Parthenon ritual cast a new thunderbolt at its government opponents and the designs to build a controversial museum at the foot of the Acropolis.

Polytheists like Peppa believe that monotheistic religions such as Christianity and Islam have as their god an authority figure who is too remote from humanity and nature.

Participants claimed it was the first such gathering since the ancient religion was officially abolished late in the 4th century.

"We believe that the structural elements of a temple should not be moved and we worry about the consequences," said high priestess Doretta Peppa.

Peppa's Athens-based group - called Ellinais, an acronym in Greek for "Sacred Society of Greek Ancient Religionists" - is campaigning to revive the ancient religion. The group has defied Culture Ministry bans on holding prayers at several ancient temples.

Orthodox Christianity is the official religion of Greece. Peppa said officials have harassed believers in the Olympian gods.

"People have had difficulties with their jobs," she said.

Thrusting their arms skywards and chanting Orphic hymns, Greek pagans yesterday made a comeback at the Acropolis as they added their voices to protests against the imminent inauguration of the New Acropolis Museum.

Ignoring a sudden rainstorm and irate officials, white-clad worshippers gathered before Greece's most sacred site and invoked Athena, the goddess of wisdom, to protect sculptures taken from the temples to the new museum. It was the first time in nearly 2,000 years that pagans had held a religious ceremony on the site.

"Neither the Romans nor the Ottomans or any other occupational force ever took anything from this holy site," said Yannis Kontopidis, one of the high priests who officiated over the affair.

"It's scandalous that antiquities of such value, carved in honour of Athena, should be wrested from their natural environment and moved to a new locale."

Not since Pericles oversaw the construction of the Parthenon had any of its classical artworks been officially removed - until last year, when thousands of items were transferred by crane to the New Acropolis Museum beneath the citadel.
