Boost for the National Front:
It's the extreme right National Front, led by Marine Le Pen, that benefits from the clueless centrist politicians' ineffectual gymnastics. Late last month, a poll put her at the top of the next presidential race. The election is not for another three years, but Le Pen may well win unless mainstream politicians finally admit that she's popular because she's not afraid to be radical and propose visible change. The time frame for the establishment to stop waffling and do something -- be it a socialist-inspired, EU-busting spend-fest or a painful structural reform with deep spending cuts that just might spur business growth -- is shrinking.
THINGS ARE LOOKING UP

Government agency Statistics Sweden said in a May 2014 report that if Sweden had held elections in May, then the Sweden Democrats – the SD, which wants to cut immigration – would have won 8.1 percent of the vote. This would have made it the third-largest party in Sweden after the Social Democrats (35.3%) and the incumbent center-right Moderate Party (22.7%).
Experts claim that one of the reasons behind SD’s increased popularity is its stance against immigration in Sweden, which is known for accepting asylum seekers and having a large foreign population from the Middle East. SD vows heavy cuts to immigration, claiming this would save the Swedish government 151 billion Swedish kronor ($21.9 billion) within four years.
How the Swedish far-right will perform will be clear after the September 14 election; observers will be watching closely to see if Sweden – like the rest of the continent earlier this year – will see a swing to the right, even in a country famed for its tolerance and liberalism.

Swedish police in cavalry charge at White patriot protesters who 'attacked officers and their horses'
At least five people have been injured after mounted police rode into a large group of anti-White patriot protestors during a demonstration in Malmo, Sweden.
More than 2,000 people had turned up to protest against a meeting held by the neo-Patriot Svenskarnas Parti (The Swedes’ Party) in a square near the Oresund Bridge which connects Sweden and Denmark on Saturday afternoon.
The protest soon turned violent, with activists attacking police and horses, and in an attempt to disperse the crowd, police rode in full gallop through a group of 300-400 people.

European Parliament MPs from the controversial Greek far-right political party Golden Dawn are set to visit Australia, the group's local spokesman says.
In his first media interview, the party's Australian representative, Ignatius Gavrilidis, said MEPs (Members of the European Parliament) Eleftherios Synadinos and Georgios Epitideios were planning to come to Australia to raise funds and increase awareness among Greek-Australians.
He said the party had between 60 and 70 "activists" in Australia, but thousands of "supporters" in the large Greek community here, a figure he said was gleaned from social media use.
